NHS Brent is looking for a Band 7 Communications Manager. The role is for four months while the existing postholder is acting up as Head of Press and Communications.

Working to and deputising for the Head of Press and Communications, you will manage or support internal and external communications projects and campaigns. You will lead on communications for the organisational development plan, write and produce publicity material and publications, including our new e-magazine for staff, and support the Head of Press & Communications in dealing with Freedom of Information requests. You will also supervise the work of our Web and Design Officer and contribute to the development of our new website and intranet.

You will be an experienced communicator with excellent written and verbal skills, who can work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. You must be able to work with colleagues at all levels and to influence and persuade senior staff, stakeholders and other partners.
